A form before booking: ask before you offer a time
Some leads should only see your calendar after answering a few questions. In Meetz each event type decides the order: form first and calendar second, or the other way round. With the form first, the lead answers one question per screen, leaves their details and, on picking a slot, the booking is done.
You choose the order
By default the lead picks a time and then leaves their details. Switch on "before the time" and they answer first, with the calendar appearing afterwards.
One question per screen
The pre-booking form uses the same format as the qualification forms: one question at a time, options that move on as soon as they're tapped, and contact details at the end.
No second screen
Once the lead has answered, picking a slot is the last step. The booking is confirmed instantly, with no further form in the way.
How to switch it on
In the calendar editor, under Form, choose "When to ask": after the time or before the time. It's a setting per event type, so you can run a first call with the form first and a follow-up with the classic order. Your existing event types stay as they are until you change them. The editor's preview shows you the funnel exactly as the lead will see it.
What it can ask
Text, dropdown, single-choice or multiple-choice questions, required or optional. Name and email are always asked; phone and notes you switch on or make required per calendar. If the email or phone already has a meeting, Meetz flags it before going on. The answers reach the closer on the booking's record and in the Google Calendar event.
When to put it first
With the form first you screen better, but you ask for details before showing a single free time. It works well with traffic that already arrives warm: a lead coming from your AI Setter or from a campaign that has already explained the offer. If the traffic is cold, keep the classic order. And when you need to turn leads away before the calendar, use a qualification form with rules.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. The order is chosen per event type, so each booking link can have its own.
A qualification form is a separate page with rules and scoring that decides which calendar each lead goes to. The pre-booking form is the event type's own questions, with no rules: whoever completes it sees the calendar.
Yes. From the calendar they can return to the form and correct what they wrote before picking a slot.
