Measure meeting conversions with the Meta Pixel

If you pay for ads on Facebook or Instagram, Meta needs to know which clicks end in a meeting. Meetz fires the pixel on the booking page and, if you add the Conversions API token, sends the same meeting from the server too. Meta counts it once.

Two standard events

PageView when the lead opens the calendar and Schedule when they confirm the meeting, with the event type's name. Enough to optimise and measure campaigns without defining custom events.

Browser and server

The meeting goes out through the pixel and through the Conversions API with the same identifier, so it arrives even if an ad blocker or an iPhone stops the pixel, and Meta discards the duplicate.

A switch per calendar

The pixel is connected once per organisation and each calendar decides whether to report. Handy for keeping the campaign calendar apart from the one for existing clients.

How to connect it

In Integrations, on the Facebook (Meta) card, paste the pixel ID and, if you want server-side sending, the Conversions API token you generate in Events Manager. Save and that's it: the booking pages of calendars with reporting enabled start firing. Without a token, the browser pixel keeps working on its own.

What Meta receives

Email, phone number and name travel hashed with SHA-256, as Meta requires. Meetz adds the Meta cookies the lead brings along and, if the ad click arrives with fbclid, rebuilds them so attribution isn't lost. The booking's identifier serves as the event's external id.

With a redirect to your site

If the calendar redirects to your thank-you page, Meetz waits a moment before jumping so the Schedule event leaves the browser. Server-side sending doesn't depend on that wait. Reschedules don't fire a second event, so one meeting counts once.

Frequently asked questions

In Meta Business Suite, Events Manager, inside your pixel. The Conversions API token is generated in its settings, under the Conversions API section.

No. The token needs a pixel ID; without one, nothing is sent.

The events fire just the same. Attribution to the ad depends on the lead arriving with the Meta click; a link passed over chat usually doesn't carry it.
