Reschedule and cancel meetings without email ping-pong
Every confirmation and every reminder carries two links: reschedule and cancel. The client picks another time or calls off the meeting from their email, and Meetz does the rest: frees the slot, updates Google Calendar and notifies the closer. Your team doesn't touch a thing.
Reschedule in one click
The link opens a calendar with the free times for the same meeting type, in the client's time zone. When they pick the new time, the Google event moves and the old slot is freed.
Cancel instantly
One click calls off the meeting. The event disappears from the closer's Google Calendar, the slot returns to the calendar immediately and the closer gets a notice.
Everyone notified
Client, closer and administrator each get their email, and your webhooks receive the rescheduled or cancelled booking event so your CRM or your AI Setter finds out.
What happens when the client reschedules
Meetz first creates the new event in the closer's Google Calendar, with a fresh Google Meet link if the meeting is on Meet, and only then updates the booking and deletes the old event. That way the closer is never left with two events or none. The new confirmation shows the previous time and the new one, and the reminders are rescheduled for the new date. Rescheduling respects the calendar's minimum notice and days ahead, just like a new booking.
Same closer or fresh routing
By default, rescheduling applies the calendar's routing again: the client sees every slot on the team and Meetz assigns the closer by your strategy. If you'd rather they stay with the same person, switch on "Keep closer on reschedule" for the calendar: the client will only see their closer's slots. And if that closer is no longer available, Meetz routes again so the client is never left without times.
Changes from the dashboard and from Google
Your team can also cancel or reschedule any booking from the dashboard. If a closer calls in sick, you reassign it to another: Meetz moves the event to the new closer's Google Calendar and notifies the client, the incoming closer and the outgoing one. And if someone moves or deletes the meeting directly in Google Calendar, Meetz picks it up within minutes. It updates the booking, frees the slot and sends the same notices.
Frequently asked questions
No. The link in the email carries a unique code for that booking; opening it is enough.
