Schedule meetings across time zones without mistakes
Diego books from Buenos Aires, Marta takes the call from Madrid and the meeting is at 18:00, but whose 18:00? Meetz stores the real moment and shows it to each person in their zone: the lead books in theirs, the closer sees it in hers and the emails carry both. Nobody converts times by hand.
The lead books in their own time
The booking page detects the device's time zone and shows slots in it. If the lead is travelling or prefers another, they change it from a selector and the slots recalculate.
Each closer with their own zone
Each closer's schedule is defined in their local time and their zone is edited from Team. Meetz protects it: reconnecting Google doesn't overwrite it, and if Google says otherwise, it warns you.
Emails with both times
The client gets their time. The closer and the administrator get theirs and, if the client's zone is different, the equivalent right next to it.
How the lead's zone is decided
When the link opens, Meetz uses the browser's time zone. If you share the link with a specific zone in the address, that one takes precedence. And the lead can always change it from the page itself before picking a time. The chosen zone is stored with the booking, so the confirmation, the reminders and the reschedule page all use the same one.
How the closer's zone is decided
Each closer has their time zone in Meetz, and their weekly schedule is read in it: 10:00 to 15:00 means 10 to 15 in their time, wherever the lead is. The zone is taken from Google when the calendar is connected and can be corrected from Team with a dropdown. Once edited by hand, Meetz keeps it even if the closer reconnects Google. And if Google detects a different zone, it shows a warning with a button to adopt it.
Teams spread around the world
With lead routing, one calendar can mix closers in Madrid, Mexico City and Bogotá: each with their schedule in their zone, and the lead sees the union of all their slots in theirs. If a closer works two calendars in different windows, they can have a specific schedule per calendar. Everything comes from the same moment stored in the booking, so the times add up for everyone.
Frequently asked questions
They can reschedule from their email: the reschedule page starts in the zone they chose and lets them change it before picking another time.
Yes. Meetz works with real time zones, not fixed offsets, so each country's clock changes apply on their own.
Yes. The zone belongs to each closer, not to the organisation or the calendar. Routing and slots respect it.
